Come and hear award-winning artist, Linda Nissen Samuels, the author and illustrator of Elly’s Adventure books, show how Elly, the little eco warrior helps save our planet.

A reading from ‘Elly’s Adventure Down by the Sea’ and ‘Elly’s Adventure in the Animal Park’ is followed by a fun drawing workshop.

Even those who think they can’t draw, will be able to create their own undersea, or animal park scene, with pages from Linda’s book ‘Draw Water and Other Things’. Using the simple step-by-step method, devised by Linda, young artists will be amazed at how their picture develops.

All materials are provided, and participants can proudly take their drawings home as inspiration for more creativity in the future.

I am really looking forward to doing two art and ecology workshops at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in June 2018 as part of their Schools' Festival. I shall be using images from Draw Water and Other Things, as well as inspiration from Elly's Ecology Series. Children will have the choice of drawing and painting scenes from Elly's Adventure in the Animal Park, Elly's Adventure Down by the Sea or Elly's Adventure saving the Coral.

In March 2018 I have been asked to do a schools drawing workshop at Dulwich Picture Gallery. Really looking forward to that !

The theme will be how to draw  (from Draw Water and Other Things) but with an ecological theme, using Elly's Adventure Down by the Sea, and soon-to- be published Elly's Adventure Saving the Coral.
